We have so much talent in the UK but it’s easier and cheaper to buy mass produced from abroad.  Whether it be fast cars or fashion, furniture or fruit.

Let’s not lose our identity.  Let’s be proud to be British!

Celebrate!

We have such a land rich in history and steeped in tradition.  But we’re losing our identity.  Over the past week we have an Halloween and Guy Fawkes night.  But which do we now acknowledge? 

Guy Fawkes born in York (13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606), belonged to a group of provincial English Catholics who planned the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 which has since been celebrated by fireworks.  Halloween a pagan festival popularised by American culture has sidelined this important part of our history.
